KINKS RAREST EP THE KINKS PYE NEP24296 DAVID WATTS 1967 in nice EX condition.

On offer is the VERY RARE and highly sought after KINKS 45 rpm EP entitled THE KINKS released in the UK on PYE NEP 24296 in 1967.

This 1968 EP is the highest priced item [45, EP or LP] listed in The Kinks section of the Record Collector Rare Record Price Guide – listed at £275 for a mint copy in the 2010 edition. This EP did not sell many copies at all back in 1968.


  • The laminated / flipback sleeve is in nice EX / EX- condition. The front laminated cover has some creasing. The non-laminated back cover has some ring-wear and a tiny bit of foxing. 
     
  • The vinyl for this EP is in nice EX condition: there is a surface hairline mark on Lazy Old Sun that does not affect play at all.

  • The record labels are in nice condition: the residue from a removed sticker is visible on the Side 2 label: which is really the only blemish on the EP: and even that is only minor given the extreme rarity of the EP.

  • I have test-played the disc for this auction. The record plays VERY NICELY indeed on my Bose stereo hi-fi.
