KINKS – PART 1: LOLA VERSUS POWERMAN AND THE MONEYGOROUND
What we have for sale here is a genuine 1st Pressing Stereo copy of this sublime and very rare Original Kinks LP. Not only is this album rare in any condition but the vinyl looks EX+ and plays as new (see below). A must for any serious Kinks collector.

GRADING
SLEEVE: VG+
The 1st Pressing GATEFOLD sleeve is in great condition. There are no splits or tears and very little edge wear. The spine is in great condition being proud and true having not been flattened. The spine text is entirely legible. There is some light discolouration to the un-laminated front and back of the sleeve and a small section of staining / wear to the back bottom right corner. The inside of the gatefold sleeve is in EX condition with only a very slight discoloration to the peripheries.
RECORD:
VISUAL GRADING – EX+
A couple of very light sleeve removal marks can be seen under very bright light. These are entirely superficial.
AUDIO GRADING – NM
The record sounds as close to mint as damned it. No crackling or pops. No nothing apart from the sweet sweet music of the Kinks.
The above record grading is based on Record Collector magazine system:
MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
