Description
KINKS - KINKS. Rare first pressing from the uk. Laminated flipback sleeve, red label (not pink like on the photo, it came from the flash of the camera!) with "recording frist published 1964". PYE NPL 18096
Condition of record: very good-. Some scuff marks and surface scratches, nothing too serious (it is miles apart from being littered with scuffs and scratches as most first kinks records look like - there are just some signs from being played, this copy still is relatively clean). Has some light surface noise, but still sounds very nice on my turntable, no skips or repeats. Not perfect, but still very enjoyable.
Condition of cover: very good+. A few very light creases (see photo), but apart from that in very very nice condition!
Condition of labels: very good. A few spindle marks, but still in nice condition.
Strict grading: mint/mint-/very good+/very good/very good-/good+/good/good-/worn/poor. (NO excellent, no mint-- or very good++ or anything like that!!) A record that is graded mint/mint looks new and play without any (!) deterioration in sound. A record graded good/good is still enjoyable and has no serious defects. Records that are manipulated on ("buffed" records) are graded as worn in the best case!
