Description

The KINKS: Arthur Or The Fall And Decline Of The British Empire, Pye Records, 1969 stereo first pressing - in nothing short of MIRACOLOUS condition, no overhyping posssible here, as I'm talking about the ultimately clean and 'as new' disc. This is the first pressing with the fragile fold-out sleeve, plus the lyrics-queen-victoria insert. Disc is in every way 'as new', graded MINT(-), my highest possible grade for a used LP. No marks, no hairlines, no nothing - graded in strong light of course. The disc plays superbly all the way. You simply cannot upgrade this disc. This was played ONCE, I believe, until I played it once at loud volume to check for flaws. Still has a thin slice of vinyl remaining in the centre hole, which is often evidence of an unplayed or nearly unplayed LP. Cover has only minor flaws - it's among the 2 best I have seen for this LP. There's some lamination lifting along back spine, on both front side and back side; minor wear in upper right corner. Light creases on back spine. Back spine is otherwise unharmed (which is RARE for this LP). COVER IS GRADED EXCELLENT. Insert IS GRADED EXCELLENT, Has the usual bend where it says 'Pull', but every copy has that - cannot fit inside the cover without this bend. WELL.... good luck.

GRADINGS

I have ten years of experience of selling vintage vinyl. I aim at selling top quality LPs only. Gradings are on the M/ EX/VG+/VG scale. I will rarely I sell LPs less than VG+, unless of considerable rarity.

MINT- is superb, almost like new. No marks, scratches, clicks, noise, or anything else.

EX is also VERY nice, 2-3 light marks perhaps, no disturbing noise, great sound quality.

VG+, a nice player, but probably has some visual impairments, and some clicks or light noise in places; always see the individual description.

VG: Rarely put of for sale, an ok copy, but always see the individual description.

PLAYGRADING

There's no guessing about condition from visual look. The visual look of a record is very important, but it only tells part of the truth. Therefore I playgrade and carefully check all my offered LPs.

SHIPPING

I ship in strong, brand new cruciform shipping boxes with padding inside. The boxes are slightly bigger than the normal LP-size, thereby providing good protection of corners and edges. I remove LPs from sleeves, in order to prevent seam-splits on transit. IF YOU HAVE INDIVIDUAL REQUIREMENTS regarding shipping, I will always do my best to coorporate.

The shipping qoutes are for 'regular' LPs. If an LP is extra heavy and cannot be shipped at the normal rate I have made the note 'Heavy LP, ships at the price of 2'.
