Description
This is the original UK LP by the KINKS, SOMETHING ELSE BY THE KINKS, 1967 MONO 1st Press on the PYE label NPL 18193. Matrix numbers are, SIDE 1:- NPL 18193A - 1 M, SIDE 2:- NPL 181193B - 1M. The LP comes complete with its original 1967 ist issue white inner sleeve, with tracing paper lining.
The original 1967 UK Mono 1st issue Garrod and Lofthouse flipback cover, with 'Patents pending; credit is in a beautiful EX++ condition, lovely and clean, their is no unwanted writing and no seam splits, the spine is fully intact, broad and perfectly readable. Beautiful cover!.
The vinyl is in EX+++ condition, apart form one non-sounding mark on track one, side one, (which doesnt effect the plays at all), the vinyl is at least EX+++ / Near Mint, gleaming with all it's oriignal shine and just pressed lustre. The impressive heavy weight vinyl plays from start to finish MINT-!, a perfect playing vinyl, playing with beautiful crisp clear clarity!, a wonderful quality 1967 Mono 1st Pressing!
The label's are im MINT- condition, lovely and clean, maintaining all their original bright vibrant red/pink colour, their is no unwanted writing and no scuffs, the spindle hole area shows little or no wear, STUNNING label's.
The vinyl is housed in it's original 1967 UK 1st issue white inner sleeve with tracing paper lining and in EX+++ condition, lovely and clean, their is onyl one small seam split, bottom, middle, no other seam splits.
Altogether a SUPERB copy of this RARE original 1967 UK MONO 1st pressing LP by the KINKS, SOMETHING ELSE BY THE KINKS. Quintesentionally British, and very much of it's time, and for me still stands the test of time, a absoulte classic album, filled to the brim with superb tracks, all penned by Ray and Dave Davis, tracks:- ' The Soldier Man', 'Afternoon Tea', Death of a Clown and the sublime 'Harry Rag', are amongst others that make this a truely superb album.
