Original UK 1972  MATRIX: A2U/B1U pressing in exclusive black sleeve with silver writing and original Pink I labels !! 
Very hard to find original 1st press LP. Often tatty, but this one is one of the nicest and cleanest i have ever seen.

Condition of Vinyl: Visual: EX++ with at least EX++ AUDIO
The visual grading is EX++ with very few and very light only hairline surface marks.
THE VINYL IS IN EXCEPTIONAL CONDITION AND HAS NOT LOST ANY OF ITS ORIGINAL LUSTRE. YOU CAN TELL THAT IT HAS BEEN  HARDLY PLAYED JUST BY LOOKING AT HOW THE RECORD STILL GLEAMS.
The album plays magnificently, at least like an EX++ with hardly any light surface noise only the lightest at times in the run ins and the quietest parts. Truly beautiful!!   Remember i am grading my records under a very strong light. This is an AMAZING copy!!!
LABELS: THE BLACK AND PINK LABELS ARE IN MAGNIFICENT CONDITION. 
ALL COLOURS ARE RICH AND VIBRANT AND THE BLACK AREAS ARE STILL PURE BLACK. 
NO MARKS OR STAINS AT ALL ON ANY PART OF THE LABEL.
THE PINK i LOGO IS ALSO IN PRISTINE CONDITION THE SILVER TYPEFACE IS ALL PERFECTLY CLEAR AND LEGIBLE AND UNRUBBED. 

THE SPINDLE HOLE IS UNWORN AND STILL HAS SMALL SHARDS OF RESIDUE VINYL LEFT OVER FROM THE PRESSING, STILL INSIDE AND CAN BE HEARD WHEN PLACING THE RECORD ONTO A SPINDLE.

The sound quality of this pressing is outstanding – very powerful, dynamic and vibrant.

  No jumps or skips.

 ORIGINAL FIRST ISSUE MACNEILL SLEEVE . SINGLE UNLAMINATED
THERE IS ALWAYS A DANGER WITH AN UNLAMINATED BLACK SLEEVE FOR IT TO LOOK TERRIBLE, AND THE SLIGHTEST MARK SHOWS UP FAR WORSE ON A BLACK SLEEVE THAN ANYTHING ELSE.
THE FRONT SURFACE ON THIS SLEEVE HAS REMAINED IN MAGNIFICENT CONDITION ALL OVER. THE BLACK STILL HAS A MILD SHEEN ABOUT IT AND THERE ARE ONLY A FEW CREASES. 
EVEN THE SMALL LINES THAT FORM NEAR THE SPINE ARE RESTRICTED TO JUST FIVE OR SIX TINY ONES, THAT HAVEN'T CAUSED ANY WHITE LINES WHICH IS AGAIN SOMETHING THAT HAPPENS TO BLACK SLEEVES. THESE SMALL LINES ARE STILL VERY BLACK.
THERE ARE LIGHT SIGNS OF RING WEAR FRONT AND BACK.
The black inner is in great condition.
There is hardly any light wear in the edges.
At the bottom along the edges, there is light wear.
The back and spine are in great condition with very little wear. 
The spine is square.

GRADING:

All records are graded using the UK ‘Record Collector’ format:

MINT (M): The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint. 

EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. 

VERY GOOD (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

FAIR (F): The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

POOR (P): The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD (B): The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.

PACKAGING INFORMATION:

LPs and singles will be sent in a record mailing envelope and will be protected by two cardboard stiffeners.
