This is an original uk 1969 first press issue of the king crimson debut lp "in the court of the crimson king".As most people know this was issued with different mixes,this one is the first? one with v2,//2 on both sides.A fantastic lp which i can offer here in MINT condition!!
The original ERNEST J DAY gatefold cover is in STUNNING condition!! with No tears,No writing and No stickers..fantastic,also what makes this a great copy is nearly all of the copies avaliable have bad storage ring wear BUT THIS HAS NOT!! it has just minimal bits of rubbing on the back,on the seams there is a little rubbing but no splits!!.Regarding the spine,again most copies have splits or all the text is not readable BUT this spine is super EVERY word is clear and readable,Altogether a fantastic cover that must grade a strong EX+++ if not MINT(minus) ITS THAT GOOD!!! just look at the pictures!
The original first press issue record which is housed in its original inner sleeve is AMAZING!!,the ROUGH TEXTURED pink island labels have No wear No writing No tears and NO SPINDLE HOLE MARKS!!..fantastic!!.The thick quality vinyl is AMAZING!! with full gloss and shine and No groove wear, No scratches and just a couple of very VERY light marks probably caused by taking the record out of the inner sleeve these can only be seen under strong light!! as it looks MINT so must grade as an amazing visual MINT(minus) to MINT!!!,this is not overgraded in any way its just that good and looks like it was bought yesterday,to find a copy like this is amazing as most were overplayed and are now found full of scratches.It also plays superb with no crackles etc and just a few light clicks on "talk to the wind" and "the court of the crimson king" but these do not overshadow the music in any way and will not stop you enjoying this fantastic original first press lp
