This is the UK 1st press of ‘Lizard' by King Crimson. This rare earliest press is on the pink rim Island label and is complete with the very earliest A-2U / B-2U matrix, the original inner sleeve and laminated gatefold EJ Day sleeve.


The record is in Very Good+ condition. The vinyl has a sensational bright gloss, all tracks gleam. There are just a few of the very lightest wispy marks. The label is in superb condition. The white is extremely bright, the text is clear and there is only the slightest spindle wear. 


When played the sound is exceptionally rich and vibrant. There are moments of light noise but this has no affct of the enjoyment of this album at any point, it sounds superb.


The EJ Day gatefold sleeve is in Very Good condition. It is completely clean with vivid colours and the pictures are sharp and unworn. The laminate has some creases, which look like they have been there from new. The inside is extremely bright and clean and the spine is firm with clear text. The whole sleeve is still solid and complete.
