Description

King Crimson - Islands (Atlantic SD 7212)

1971 original white label promo LP with title sticker on front of gatefold cover. Hole punch in cover.

Weird surface striations on the vinyl, but they don't seam to affect play. There's a little background noise in the deadwax and in the super quiet spots, but nothing overwhelming. Plays to a VG+ at least.

Condition: Disc VG, Cover VG+

A note on grading: As a collector, I understand the frustration and disappointment with getting an item that is not in the condition in which it was listed. I grade conservatively, both for yours and my protection. I'd rather under-grade something and have you be pleasantly surprised than deal with an unsatisfied customer. My VG+ are most sellers' EX or VG++.
 
My gradings are: Still Sealed, M-, VG++, VG+, VG, VG-, G.

I ship all my non-sealed records with the disc in an inner sleeve out of the cover to avoid seam splits. All sealed records packaged to avoid seam splits. LPs ship in a 13" x 13" x 1" (or 2") LP mailer with cardboard squares on both sides. Over 15 years experience shipping vinyl.
