RARE German very first pressing of King Crimson`s debut album "In The Court Of The Crimson King" on EMI/Columbia Records (October 1969).
"Despite what you may think, this is the absolute worst record of all time. No songs about rock n roll, sex or drugs, and my biggest complaint is the display of talent, flawless combination, juxtaposition and integration of jazz and classical into sporadic 'rock' music. Integrate? Taking ideas from another genre, placing them perfectly into a diverse set of rock songs and making an album that rides on it's composition, elegance and quirkiness rather than on pop hooks and lyrics about doing drugs? Lol, hard. Pretentious drivel. Ersatz shit."  - Robert Christgau, March 2012.
GRADING:
MINT- COVER. Laminated gatefold sleeve in near-perfect condition. Please see photos for details.
- A few tiny creases to the spine, as well as the bottom edge.
- Original first-press unlaminated inner spread.
- Includes original plastified inner sleeve, date-stamped "11/69", or November 1969.

MINT- RECORD with perfect audio reproduction throughout. 
- A few lightest hairlines from sleeve removal only.
- Original light blue EMI labels with a single light spindle line (side one).
- The matrix stamps in the run-off grooves read "1C 062-91 093 A-1" and "1C 062-91 093 B-1", indicating a German first pressing.
- This record is fully certified to be an original German first pressing of "In The Court Of The Crimson King", released in November 1969.

PLEASE NOTE: Not to be compared with the more-often-than-not substandard vinyl on offer on eBay, this item is in honestly-graded MINT- condition. You will NOT find another original first pressing of "In The Court Of The Crimson King" as nice as this one - especially at this bargain price: "True value for money" is the motto here!
