COMPLETE WITH THE ORIGINAL DIE-CUT, ROUGHLY TEXTURED, BLACK INNER SLEEVE WITH UK PATENT NUMBER AND "MADE IN GREAT BRITAIN" TEXT PRINTED IN SILVER
Side 1: 21ST CENTURY SCHIZOID MAN / PEOIRA / THE SAILORS TALE
Side 2: EARTHBOUND / GROON
LABELS: EXCELLENT+
Clean and unmarked with only light spindle traces
VINYL Visual: VERY GOOD++
The surfaces retain their original deep glossy sheen but there are hairlines and some other light marks - none of which have any audio consequence. There is also some marbling-type blemishing on Side One but again, this has no audio impact
VINYL Audio: NEAR MINT
An absolutely stunning set "captured live on an Ampex stereo cassette fed from a Kelsey Morris custom built mixer ... in the rain from the back of a Volkswagen truck." - and it sounds like it - but all the better - it's loud, it's rough, it's raw and it's incredibly immediate - fantastic stuff.
My play-check at very loud volume revealed no audio issues of note - no scratches, no loud clicks or pops and no groove-wear or distortion and it plays beautifully from start to finish.
To be very, very picky there is the slightest touch of surface on the run-ins and between the tracks but nothing really
SLEEVE: EXCELLENT
A fine example of this incredibly easily worn sleeve being, as it is, untreated and black.
There is some storage rubbing to the bottom edge and some very light ring but the whole sleeve is good and solid with a clean, clear spine
INNER SLEEVE: EXCELLENT+
The original black inner is clean and unmarked with no splits or snags to the central die-cut section
