This is a really amazing MINT condition vinyl and excellent condition gatefold sleeve.Both sides of the vinyl look and play as new and sound fantastic with crystal clear audio clarity throughout,even in strong light both sides look extremely glossy and brand new,both sides play free of surface noise and you will not find a better original playing copy in such stunning visual condition as this copy on offer here.
Both sides of the vinyl are in a truly amazing MINT- condition,there are no surface marks or scuffs and both sides have a brilliant glossy full sheen and the album really does look and play as a new record would,even the notoriously very quiet track 'MOONCHILD' sounds absolutely amazing and is free of surface noise,this is just a stunning MINT- condition brilliant playing collectors copy of one of the best debut albums ever recorded,this vinyl really is in amazing extremely clean condition and will not need to be upgraded..GUARANTEED!!!
Both PINK ISLAND labels are in new condition and there are no spindle traces or wear around the spindle hole,i gave this LP one very careful play before listing and i doubt that it has been played more than 2 or 3 times in 37 years so the labels are still in perfect defect free condition.
The original E.J.Day gatefold sleeve just suffers from small areas of edge/spine/ring wear,nearly every other copy suffers from these areas of wear as the gatefold sleeve is not laminated and was very prone to light storage wear.The original poly-lined POLYDOR inner sleeve is in very good condition and has certainly done a perfect job of protecting the vinyl over the years.
This superb top progressive rock album does not surface for sale too often at all in such stunning MINT- condition,the winning bidder will not be disappointed with this amazing original UK PINK ISLAND pressing of King Crimson's superb debut album.
