** Fake Bids **
Like a lot of ska / reggae sellers on eBay, we are sometimes targeted by fake bidders who derive some kind of pleasure from disrupting auctions. Please be assured that we will not allow these sad individuals to spoil our auctions. Whenever possible, we monitor the countdown of each auction, and any fake bids are cancelled immediately. When fake bids are made within the last few seconds, and bid cancellation is not possible, they are disregarded. The 'true' winner is invoiced for the correct amount - i.e. the figure where they outbid the second highest legitimate bid. Thus you never pay prices inflated by fake bidders. We do ask that you honour your bids, even in those auctions that are affected by fake bids, and that you pay promptly. If you do not agree to these terms, then please do not bid.
KING CANNON - Soul Special / TREVOR SHIELD - Moon Is Playing Trick (Harry J TR664) - 7" - 1969
Original pressing of this Harry J 7" featuring King Cannon's Soul Special (a killer horns cut of Lloyd Robinson's Cuss Cuss) backed by Trevor Shield's Moon Is Playing Trick. There are light and lightish surface marks, plenty of fine, light hairlines, light scratches and scuffs plus two more prominent spindle marks on the A-side - nothing too serious - see descriptions below. Both sides play through without sticking or jumping and the music comes through fine - check the soundclip. Please note - the centre has been removed on this copy.
A-side: There is a very small improving to tiny amount of background surface noise with very small and small pops and clicks. In addition, the two spindle marks highlighted above cause hissy clicks that range from moderate to tiny during the first minute of the track, though these improve as the track progresses. Grade - VG-/VG improving to EX-
B-side: A little crackly right at the start, thereafter there is a smallish improving to very small amount of background surface noise with very small, small and some smallish pops and clicks plus a few more prominent ones. Grade - G+/VG- improving quickly to VG++ Labels: There is some general wear to both labels plus a little writing in biro on the A-side label (see scan).*** More Roots, Dub and Dancehall 7" & 12" singles and LPs will be listed daily over the next few months ***
