KIM CHOO JA
(Korea, Universal Record Co., KLS-78, stereo) 19??
VG / VG+ (rec/cvr) Disc has lots of marks but just a few that will audibly affect play; it actually plays quite nicely. There are no deep scratches and there are NO skips. The textured, thick cardboard cover shows only light wear to corners and edges, some mild discoloration and a few tiny stains.
You'll find upbeat funk and dramatic torchy ballads on this excellent LP by
Kim Choo Ja. Backing may include electric organ and some strings and horns, but bass and drums are always upfront, and the bass is often the lead instrument, playing and comping off of the melody line! Very cool and unusual!
As is often the case with Korean-pressed records there is very little information provided in English (understandable, I guess--we don't say much in Korean on our records), so I can't provide much more in the way of details. NM:
disc appears unplayed; sleeve shows no signs of handling
an EX:
disc has no flaws; sleeve has only very minor, not obvious flaws
NEX:
disc has very minor, inaudible flaws; sleeve still looks quite nice
VG+:
disc normally will not have audible marks, but more visual flaws; sleeve will have more noticeable, minor wear
VG:
disc will have slight audible flaws; sleeve clearly shows wear
