Description
Hey, lookie here! According to Jim Flora (see the interview here http://www.jimflora.com/14/flora14.htm), the first album cover he did was for Columbia Records Set C-126, Kid Ory and His Creole Jazz Band. It is an album that you will rarely see and especially not in great condition.
Here it is. I'm listing this one time and one time only. The album condition is as seen. Records are E-- to VG++ overall, maybe a bit better. Side 1-2 (Bucket Got A Hole In It) has a bit of chipping to the edge lamination which I've shown in a pic (please look at them carefully). I will supply additional pics of the set on request if you don't wait until the last day to ask.
See my feedback (any or all) and bid confidently. You'll see that folks are generally positively surprised at what they've bought from me.
Shipping will be $9.50 and it will go via Priority Mail (carefully packed) within one business day of payment.
Buy-It-Now is $89 even if the Buy-It-Now thingy is gone (contact me if that is the case and you want this fine example of Jim Flora's talent).
Happy bidding!
A question for those of you who read this far. Anyone know anything about a blue wax copy of Ted Lewis and His Band - Columbia 1296-D - Sweetheart of Sigma Chi and Good Night? Recorded December 1927. I didn't think they issued blue wax disks that early. Info appreciated.
