This is the rare UK 1st press of Key Largo. This is a complete UK 1st Press on the Blue Horizon label, it has the earliest A1//B1 matrix and the Shorewood Packaging sleeve. This is sleeve is a rare initial printed test, mock-up, it is not the final printed sleeve.
The record is in Excellent condition. The vinyl has a sensational jet black high gloss, there are no signs of heavy play at all. There are just a couple of very slight marks on both sides. The Blue Horizon label is bold and bright with sharp text and it is exceptionally clean. There is the slightest spindle wear.
On playing the sound is Excellent, extremely rich and vibrant. There is a little momentary background hiss in places, but the sound is extremely clear with superb separation throughout. There is no noise that spoils the enjoyment of this LP at any point, it still sounds superb.
The Shorewood Packaging sleeve is in Very Good condition. The image is still extremely sharp and the colours are bold and unworn. There is a little ring and edge wear and the two pieces of the sleeve had been stapled together. The inside is plain white and has the catalogue number handwritten in the corner.
