KENNY DREW TRIO "New Faces New Sounds" Blue Note 5023, 10-inch, FRAME, P, DG, Flat Rim, Mono Vinyl
This is the first edition, 1953, 10", Mono, Deep Groove, Flat Rim, P" pressing of KENNY DREW TRIO's "New Faces New Sounds -- Introducing the Kenny Drew Trio" on the "767 Lexington Ave" labels of BLP 5023. Musicians include Curly Russell, Art Blakey, Kenny Drew.
VINYL plays with consistent low level surface noise (i.e, static, ?? or ????, relative to the volume of the music/instruments), with occasional pops and ticks. But instruments are clean, strong, dynamic and full of tone. Noise is well beneath the music, vinyl plays well. Some minor groovewear. No locked grooves. No Skips. Good gloss, clean surface. No marks or scuffs. The Deep Groove "767 Lexington Ave" labels are clean with spindle marks. See photos.
FRAME COVER is in very good excellent condition, corners a little worn. Spine and seams spotless, perfect. Solid inking throughout. Back jacket shows aging, but largely excellent with minor fading. Please see photos.
This LP was play tested. RECORD CLEANED ON VPI 16.5 VINYL CLEANER.
