Description
Original MONO recording on the JAZZLAND label with Kenny Dorham on trumpet, Ernie Henry on alto, Kenny Drew on piano, Wilbur Ware on bass and A.T. (Art Taylor) on drums. Recorded in 1956, these hard-boppers played with swagger long before it became part of athletes' personae. (Miles had swagger also but he was cool about it, sauntering of the stage when his sidemen were soloing and that became part of his personae.) The liner notes list Henry as leader on Side 1 and Dorham as leader on Side 2. Record is in Very Good condition with a slight warp that does not affect play. Cover is Very Good with writing in the top-right corner on the back.
