Description
This auction is for KENNY BURRELL - MIDNIGHT BLUE blue note records blp-4123 The cover for this release is vg showing some wear. The front is clean the rear shows a mild storage ring. The top seam is torn a little bit at the left corner the bottom seam is torn approx 2 inches at the center. The left spine is solid. The record a original mono pressing grades a high vg. The record has a very nice full gloss to it under bright and normal light a few hairlines and light marks are seen. None of these are bad and the playback is quite good with a light pop occasionally heard in some of the quieter moments where only Kenny is playing. This record does have some glue staining on the side one label due to the fact that 2 labels were put on and one has fallen off exposing the first label. I do have the second label as seen in the last image. The record has a deep groove only to side one and the record does have the "ear" or "p" to the dead wax along with the van gelder stamp.
