Description

Superb copy of this rare 1971 release on Vertigo Records (6360 024)  The Keith Tippett Group - Dedicated To You, But You Weren't Listening.  The record comes in its original gatefold sleeve and with its original full Vertigo "swirl" label on  side 1 and with large swirl on side 2 above the spindle hole.

The group consisted of : Keith Tippett (piano, Hohner electric piano); Elton Dean (Alto, saxello); Marc Charig (cornet); Nick Evans (trombone); Robert Wyatt (drums); Phil Howard (drums); Tony Uta (conga drums, cow bell); Roy Babbington (double bass, bass guitar); Neville Whitehead (double bass) and Gary Boyle (guitar)  A virtual Who's Who of talent from the avant-garde jazz scene in England at the end of the 60's and the start of the 70's.

Cover is VG++ or better ... a little shelfwear and little ringwear on the back, a touch of edgewear; the vinyl is around NM- ... very light marks, the odd hairline and scuff. Lovely copy.
