Vinyl Grading:
Mint (M or SS)   Sealed or has just been opened by me, I rarely use this rating for non-sealed items. Records and covers will have no issues. Sealed items are assumed as not being played and therefore Mint. Sealed (SS) will not be accepted as a return if opened.
Near Mint (NM)   A near-perfect record and cover. May have the smallest of imperfections. As if it was just opened.
Excellent (EX or VG++)  Somewhere between VG+ and NM.
Very Good Plus (VG+)   Record surfaces may have some signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or light scratches that don't affect the sound. May have a slight warp. Labels may have slight wear. The cover may have wear and a cut-out, dents, slight ring wear, corner cut or slight seam-split. The cover may have small stickers or sticker residue.
Very Good (VG or VG-)   Record surfaces will have some signs of wear. Records will have surface noise. Scuffs and scratches (deep enough to feel with a fingernail) that will affect the sound. Labels may have writing, tape, larger stickers or residue. The same will be true for LP covers including wear, large seam splits, cuts, cut-outs, dents, ring wear, small writing or a small amount of water/moisture damage.
Good (G or G+)   Records in Good or Good Plus condition will have surface noise and wear, scratches, scuffs and visible groove wear. Scuffs and scratches (deep enough to feel with a fingernail) that will affect the sound, may have skips. LP cover will have full seam splits, tape, writing, heavy ring wear, rips and tears or large water/moisture damage.
