Keith Christmas – Stimulus (12” LP)
Keith Peter Christmas (born 13 October 1946 in Wivenhoe, near Colchester, Essex, England) is an English singer and songwriter. In 1969, his first album, Stimulus, was released on RCA Victor via a production deal with Sandy Roberton's September Productions, to whom he was signed. Christmas played acoustic guitar on David Bowie's Space Oddity album and appeared at the first Glastonbury Festival in 1970. Through the 1970s he released albums on B&C and Manticore, while touring with and supporting bands such as The Who, King Crimson, Ten Years After, Frank Zappa, Roxy Music, Hawkwind, Captain Beefheart and The Kinks. Among the musicians who contributed to his recordings were Mighty Baby, Pat Donaldson, Keith Tippett, Gerry Conway, Shelagh McDonald, Rod Argent, Peter Sinfield, Greg Lake, Mel Collins, Cat Stevens, Adrian Shaw (Magic Muscle and, later, Hawkwind), and Michael Boshears.

The album is on RCA Victor Records, SF 8059. Matrix side one: XGBS-0245-2K (stamped). Matrix side two: XGBS-0246-2K (stamped).

Condition: (as Record Collector’s grading system)
Vinyl side 1: excellent (has the odd very light superficial mark that can only be seen under bright light that does not affect the audio in any way, plays excellent with no jumps, sticks or clicks and minimal crackle).
Vinyl side 2: excellent (has the odd very light superficial mark that can only be seen under bright light that does not affect the audio in any way, plays excellent with no jumps, sticks or clicks and minimal crackle).
Cover (front laminated): very good (has a few small laminate creases mainly around the edges, very light crease bottom right, some laminate lift on bottom half of the spine, light rubbing, aging and wear on back).
I have tried to give my honest opinion as to the condition. I will give a complete refund to the buyer if they are not happy with the record.

RECORD COLLECTOR GRADING SYSTEM:
MINT: I very rarely use the mint grade. Only records that are still sealed or records that even under the strongest of lights are completely unmarked. Also covers that are unmarked/uncreased in any way and still look brand new.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is no lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.  1715 (GS 9.9.2 (1715))
