KEEF HARTLEY BAND 'Half Breed' 1969 Original/First UK Pressing on Deram SML 1037. Stereo. Gatefold Sleeve.
First UK Pressing with mono/stereo indicator holes in back cover. And original blue stereo inner sleeve.
Brilliant debut album from the band led by ex-JohnMayall's Bluesbreakers drummer. The band includes the hugely underrated guitarist/singer/song writer Miller Anderson and jazz trumpeter Henry Lowther who does the brass arrangements, and fellow jazz trumpeter Harry Beckett.

Record VG Visually, under a bright light, there are a few hairlines and one or two very minor scuffs. Not major ones. Although obviously played, the vinyl retains its sheen.
When played, the music is pure and strong, although there is some crackle, and it appears in many places especially where the music is quiet and strongly in the dialogue at the beginning of side one.
Cover/Sleeve EX++ EX+ gatefold cover/sleeve that looks like it came out of the factory yesterday. Very sound and strong with no edge wear, no marks, no laminate lift. Stunning - especially for its age. The strong uncreased and unworn spine is the original wide one. It has just the slightest sun bleaching. The inside of the gatefold is in excellent condition too.
Labels EX Excellent - please see images. Spindle marks indicate that the record has been played a number of times.
The inner sleeve is the original blue Decca/Deram stereo one, and is in excellent condition.
I use Record Collector magazine gradings.
