"This is the deluxe gatefold 2xLP of KAYO DOT's latest opus, on black vinyl! Boston, Massachusetts' eight-piece "avant-metal" outfit KAYO DOT follow up their much-heralded 2003 debut (on John Zorn's Tzadik label) with their Robotic Empire debut, "Dowsing Anemone with Copper Tongue". These five tracks (spanning 60+ minutes) delve into the myriad depths that heavy music can attain, but reach far beyond into the vast realms of ambience.
This isn't typical track-by-track genre-bending as much as it is a complete orchestral work, calling upon elements of jazz, metal, noise, and ambience to guide you through their haunting sonic landscapes and picturesque movements. Often bleak and at times quite unsettling, KAYO DOT further amazes by dismissing conventional structures in the styles they have already mastered, looking forward and taking extreme music to places it's only imagined possible." - Robotic Empire
All my records are kept in a smoke-free home. I am a collector so I look after each and every one with great care and attention.
This record is in near new condition. It would not be out of place as a new record in your record store.
These are from my own personal collection and are only being sold due to these financial times.

The Small Print
In order to facilitate a happy transaction, please email me when you receive your item. If within 7 days of this email you are unhappy with the condition of the record, please email me to organise a return and refund. Your full payment plus the postage paid during initial purchase will be refunded, however please be aware return postage will be at your own expense. Refund will be applied once I have received the returned record. Refunds will not be given if you decide you do not like the record. Please select your purchase carefully.
I list my records with great accuracy, listing any damage already present, so refunds will be given if the record you receive is markedly different to the description. I package all my records outside the sleeve so as to negate any seam split. I then wrap the records in bubble wrap and post them using a cardboard stiffener, inside a hard cardboard record mailer. I do not take responsibility for damage during post so I do recommend taking an insurance option.
All purchases being shipped to Central and South American countries MUST be Registered due to past bad experience shipping to Argentina, Brazil and Chile.
