This item is an original first pressing of the U.S. version of Kate's The Kick Inside with its original cover. The album was not a success in the U.S. and thus most copies of this first issue are lost. This particular copy was archived in a radio library for 30 years. It has a cut-out hole in the upper right corner, indicating it was originally a promo. There is also some writing on the back indicating the catalog number change that later occurred when it was reissued on the EMI America label. The vinyl has been stored in a separate sleeve to better protect it. No visible scratches on it that would affect play.
