Description
No official vinyl recording exists of the famous Hammersmith odeon concert in 1979. Wikipedia indicates that this vinyl version has been lifted from the recording that was made and originally appeared as part of the official cd/video package back in the early 90s.Check Google for other related references.
I bought this new in 2014 and have played it through 3 times. The vinyl is immaculate and shows no sign of wear . For the perfectionist there is a slight click that can be heard at the start of tracks 1 and 3 on side 2 but this is minimal and does not detract from the overall reproductive quality which is excellent. The cover is in very good condition with a few minimal creases on the spine.
The vinyl feels slightly heavier than standard vinyl it’s not180 g but feels like 150 g.
This is a rare opportunity to acquire a recording of this famous concert on vinyl in excellent condition.
