Kate Bush ?– Hounds Of Love

This record is in very good condition. It has spindle marks visible on each label but no pen marks, stains or scuffs anywhere. The centres show mild wear but are not loose or worn. Overall the labels are in good shape with no major issues to report but with the spindle marks as mentioned.

As for the vinyl itself, both sides are free from anything deep or serious but do have some light surface lines, faint sleeve 'scuffs' and some light marks showing in normal light. These and all the 'marks' are light and quite minor but are there none the less are are a clear sign of use. They all clearly show under bright light, along with some more wispy lines. So overall a used vintage record that has no nasty deep marks or serious defects but has signs of use with some light surface lines and marks. 

I play tested the record and it played well enough overall with no skips, sticks or annoying ticks but some light surface noise in the much quieter parts of some tracks. It lays flat on the deck and upon playing there is little to no movement in the record arm. The audio begins with some surface noise in the run in to side 1 and then also in the quieter parts or early stages of side 1. Any music with any volume to it is clear and sounds great but there is light crackling in the very quiet parts. I would grade the audio on side 1 as EX- overall. Side 2 plays in a similar fashion but as there are far more quiet areas on this side there is more surface noise noticeable. The worst areas for this are the mellow opening first two tracks and also the quieter track towards the end. Again any music with volume plays well but there is some interference in the quieter parts. As a result of this interference in the quieter parts I would grade the audio on side 2 as VG overall.

So overall not a perfect audio experience and not a record for the audiophiles out there, but one that can still be enjoyed and plays through well enough with no majorly disruptive issues but with some interference as mentioned. Due to this I have graded and priced accordingly.

The sleeve is in very good+ condition. It has only minor wear to the edges and corners, with a small 5mm patch of wear on the spine(in Kate Bush). It still has a strong spine however and there are no tears, splits, scuffs or pen marks anywhere. There is only faint ring marks showing and only a few minor creases in places. There is however discolouring and grubbiness to both sides. This is the sleeves main issue and is noticeable with the white areas not bright and grubby in places. Other than the discolouring/grubbiness and the small patch of wear as mentioned there is little to report however and it is structurally very strong. I have tried to describe the sleeve as best I can but please study the pictures provided to gain as much information as possible as to its condition.

It contains its original picture/lyric inner in excellent- condition. This has no tears, splits or pen marks and very little creasing or ring marks. There is some age spots and light discolouring in places however.

The record will be packaged in cardboard stiffeners and bubble wrapped thoroughly when dispatched. It will also be sent in a brand new protective plastic sleeve, and within 24hrs of receiving payment to try to ensure a swift delivery.
