Description
The tour may be over but the magic of Kate Bush can still be heard in the excellent album Aerial. A double 12" LP record set and a collectible 180gm heavyweight vinyl incarnation, it was issued in the UK by EMI in 2005 with the catalogue number KBALP01. Included within the set is a stunning 24-page colour booklet which features recording information, lyrics, photos and artwork.
Vinyl Condition - Very Good+ Visually Excellent. Both discs are bright and clean, spotless in fact and there are no marks or scratches. Both records play well, the overall musical sound is bright and clear - there is no jumping, sticking or distortion to the music. Two or three light clicks may be heard per side, although the second side seems free of such issues. However, the following should be considered …
There are varying levels of background noise/hiss but for the most part this is not loud or excessive and when Kate is singing and the music is in full flow, these issues are rarely evident. Although a degree of "noise" can be heard during the track breaks and quieter moments, in my opinion (and for the most part), it is not beyond what generally seems to be the norm or acceptable for vinyl. However, during the fourth side it is more pronounced throughout, particularly as the first track starts to fade and into the quiet start of the second.
Sleeve Condition - Excellent - Original gatefold with only the lightest signs of wear present. Could almost be graded mint but the inner record sleeves and booklet most certainly are. Large pictures of both sides of the disc and sleeve are available on request.
