Profile: Kate & Anna McGarriglenis a Canadian singer-songwriter duo consisting of sisters Kate & Anna McGarrigle, who performed together up until Kate's death on January 18th 2010.Kate & Anna began their career as members of Montreal folk groups Mountain City Four (MC4) and Le Trio Canadien in the 1960s. After having had some initial success as songwriters during first half of the 1970s, the sisters released their first album on the Warner Bros label in 1975. They would go on to make another 10 albums in the next 30 years. A compilation album consisting of unused material, mainly from the 1970s, was also released by Anna McGarrigle alone shortly after her sister's death.
The sisters were made memebers of the order of canada in 1996, recieved the Governor's General Award in 2004 and the MOJO roots award in 2010

Grading
- Mint - I will not grade Mint unless I am absolutely sure it has not been played
- Mint Minus [N.M.] - Label and Vinyl looks perfect and plays perfect
- Excellent - Vinyl has virtually no blemishes. Plays Perfect. Label may have a sticker.
- VG plus - Has the odd superficial mark but plays without any surface noise or skips or crackles. Very close to Excellent. May have sticker
- VG - Same as above but may have more marks. But still plays without skips or surface noise.
- GOOD more noticeable marks than a VG+ but has no skips or jumps. May have SLIGHT surface noise
