KATATONIA “The Great Cold Distance” metal prog rock psych 2lp Red Wax oop M-

2006/UK/Peaceville VILELP 128….. This is a gorgeous  copy of this scarce Out  of Print 2lp set. What a great set of heavy prog rock with the odd metal overtone at times, some tracks remind me of Porcupine Tree and the new wave of genius young bands keeping the spirit alive. Great stuff! The gatefold cover is in Excellent condition small light corner bumps/wear on the top corners, and a couple of minor light small handling creases on the top edge left side, otherwise the gatefold cover is solid and clean. The records are in M- condition, I will note that there is a small area where a very light inaudible scuff on side four so I'll grade it as Excellent and was shipped from the website with this minor flaw. All four sides are otherwise like new and have on been played once. All four sides play mean and clean with nice clean fidelity. Includes both M- custom inner sleeves. This is a numbered edition of 2000 copies. This one's copy #781. Check these guys out on you tube! I also have another scarce 10" listed by them now. Please check my auctions for other records by Porcupine Tree, Riverside, Steven Wilson, Blackfield and more! Good luck and thanks for looking!

GRADING

MINT: I consider New Unplayed or Sealed items only.

M- or Mint Minus, very clean with clean visual appearance and sound, there may be a couple of light inaudible hairline scuffs or such and will be mentioned in the listing, a Mint- record looks and plays very clean. Same for the cover. Very clean with no delete or other issues.

EXCELLENT: still very collectable for most, visually and sonicly clean. A handful of light inaudible scuffs, or hairlines. Cover will be clean with little wear, or delete. No splits.

VG++ still a very nice copy with minimal wear, the vinyl will retain it's original gloss and can have some minor scuffs/scratches that don't affect play very much. Cover will have slight shelf wear, and or delete, minor split.

VG+ the vinyl will still retain much original gloss with a bit more scuffs and/or scratches I may list a very rare or desirable item with a lower grade, I will try to list all defects.
