I love the depth and new sounds on the new album by Katatonia but I still rate The Great Cold Distance as their best work ever! Love, love love this album. July is one of the greatest tracks ever written!!! If you like Porcupine Tree and Opeth, then this is another great band to add to your collection. They are the masters of Apocalyptic Heavy Metal and Melody.
I bought two of these blood red vinyl editions upon release, so am selling my spare. Gatefold 2LP on beautiful luscious, delicious, ever so slightly transparent, BLOOD RED vinyl! Pictures do not do the colour justice really. This rare release was limited to only 2000 numbered copies worldwide and is now long out of print. The records themselves are in mint condition and have been played only once! The cover/sleeves are also in mint condition.
