Kansas - The Best Of Kansas 1984 US First/Original Pressing Sealed Vinyl/LP containing 10 total tracks featuring 6 Billboard Hot 100 Hits: Carry On Wayward Son (#11), Point Of Know Return (#28), Fight Fire with Fire (#58), Dust In The Wind (#6), Hold On (#40) and Play The Game Tonight (#17). For full track listing (Photo #4). The Best Of Kansas was originally released in 1984, and featured one new track, "Perfect Lover," written by then-lead vocalist John Elefante and his brother Dino Elefante. The album has sold over 4 million copies in the United States and was certified quadruple platinum in 2001. The versions of "Carry On Wayward Son" and "The Wall" on the 1984 release of The Best of Kansas are special versions remixed by Kerry Livgren and unique to the first version of this collection. For the 1999 reissue of the collection, the original 1976 mixes from the album Leftoverture are used instead. The removal of "Perfect Lover" which had previously been available only on this album, made the track out of print in the United States. With printed barcode (Photo #5). Album cover conservatively graded excellent due only to some creases in the front right bottom section/corner (Photo #8), back left bottom corner (Photo #11) and back right top area (Photo #5) from a tight shrink wrap, minimal crease in the back right upper section (Photo #11), tiny front left top/bottom corner crease/ding (Photo #10) and minimal ring wear/impressions in the back top and left portions (Photo #12).
