RECORD: M- to VG+

clean and still shiny surface, great dynamic sound

  No deep scratches, skips and hangs.

  Overall still collectable and a nice copy for this UK megararity, but nothing for M- collectors because of the bad cover.

I heard all songs with an Van den Hul Frog on SME 3012 tonarm on an Thorens TD521 Professional turntable

Here are my impressions:

Side 1 looks  EX+ with only a few hairlines you only can see under bright light

song 1: EX+

song 2: VG(+) slight background noise because the song is very calm song

 3: M-

song 4: M-

song 5: for about 10 sec. slight background noise can be heard, rest plays M-

song 6:  3 or 4 very slight tocks in background in the middle of the song, rest plays M-

in deadgroove between the songs sometimes slight backgroundnoise, but not in all.

Side 2 looks  EX+ with only a few hairlines you only can see under bright light

Has the typical watermark only seen in the beginning dead groove and not to hear.

song 1: EX- slight background noise in calm parts song 2: very quite music, here you can here some very slight crackles for about 90 sec VG+

song 3: at the end you can hear for about 10 sec. slight background noise; rest plays EX

song 4: at the beginning for 15 sec. slight crackles, rest plays EX

song 5: very quite music, here you can here some very slight short crackles at the beginning and the end of the song, otherwise EX

song 6: M- only at the end for 5 sec. slight crackling

 in deadgroove between the songs sometimes slight noisy, but not in all.

RECORD OVERALL PLAYS OVER 90% EX to M-

 REST 10% as described no heavy clicks, scratches, skips or hangs, just background noise or slight tocks and crackling from hearing over years

COVER: G

The cover is not in an good shape, I cannot understand how the former owner can destroy this cover in this wise, while the record is in a realy nice condition, only god knows :-)

IT´S 100% ORIGINAL and for me still in worth to stay in the collection until an better cover crosses the way.

Grading :

M = Mint - as new

M - = Near Mint - very few, light signs or hairlines of usage that don’t affect play, little noise from a dust particle or using might be heard in blank grooves between the song, - the cover has only minor signs of wear.

EX = Excellent - some signs of usage, but very little lessening in sound quality – the cover might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VG = Very Good - no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch - normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items.

G = Good - the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches - the cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.

+ and - are used as appropriate.
