Description

Julius Hemphill                 Dogon A.D.        stereo         Mbari #5001        

 Julius Hemphill (as,fl), Abdul Wadud (cello), Baikaida Yaseen (Carroll) (t), Phillip Wilson (d)  1972 

 The record looks VG++/M- and plays M-.  Side 1 has an app. 2 inch scuff mark that is not into the grooves and does not affect play.  No scratches on Side 1.  No scuffs and no scratches on Side 2.  The grooves are glossy and do not show wear or damage.  A nice copy.     

 The cover is VG+.  

   The front and back covers have moderate wear and ring wear with some brown mold staining spots and overall fading.  The corners have tiny spots of wear. No split seams.  Spine is intact.  

Black lines that might be visible at bottom left and top right in pictures are due to photo cropping and not on record.

 My highest grade is M- and I rarely grade 50s or 60s records M-. Records are graded visually using the Goldmine system. M-, VG++, VG+, VG, VG- etc. I play grade any potential problem areas.  I attempt to grade conservatively, listing all significant flaws. You will be satisfied.  No hassles.
