TITLE:
JULIUS HEMPHILL "DOGON A.D." MBARI RECORDS - ORIGINAL 1972 STEREO LP # 5001 VG+
DESCRIPTION AND CONDITION:
Julius Hemphill's first LP was composed, arranged, produced and self released by Hemphill on his own Mbari label. Julius Hemphill was later known for his work with Anthony Braxton in The Loft Sessions and his membership in the World Saxophone Quartet. Hemphill is joined on this LP by Abdul K. Wadud on Cello; Baikaida Yaseen on Trumpet and Phillip Wilson on Percussion.
Record and jacket are in excellent condition.. Vinyl is very glossy and has just a few very light marks that do not affect play. It plays with excellent clarity with no skips, loud pops or jumps. Cover has no rips, tears, splits, markings or stains. There is a little dirt and ring wear. VG++
