Here is an amazing copy of Swing Me An Old Song by Julie London on a USA Liberty LRP 3119 blue label monaural vinyl LP pressing. The jacket is a STUNNING near mint (YES it’s that pretty!! And I’m still conservative on the grade, most would call mint in a heartbeat.) with NO detractions. There is a slight mark on the top center rear panel but I’ve seen brand new copies with worse. This is so minuscule but due to this vintage I want to be extra meticulous. The front is pretty enough , no detractions, even the edges are bright white and like new, but the all white back panel it gorgeous for that revealing color and over this amount of time. I can clarify the description of this jacket better by saying that it has this fresh look to it, not what you would expect from a record from this era. NO ring wear, certainly no splits, dings, dents, cuts, notches (I don’t even think they put notches and holes to designate overstock or promos like they would in years to come). Lets say for a 50 year old jacket condition we are at stunning here!!

This is the jacket with the jailbird laying down (as shown). There is another version with the jailbird sitting.

The LP is a matching stunning near mint minus!!! Yes, the damn thing looks that good!! NO spindle marks and shiny like new looking vinyl surfaces. The minus is for a slight haze in the run out area on one side and light sleeve scuffs (VERY light, you gotta hit hard glare to see anything). The original aqua blue labels are pristine!! So I gotta test play it now!!! It plays beautifully!!! Slight light crackle here and there but I think that was standard for the pressings of this day. I also learned how original microgroove run out grooves act. I almost flipped when I say my $2500 arm/stylus combo swaying back and forth at the end of the record!!!
