Description
Julie London LP titled "Send for Me," Liberty LST 7171, 1961. The vinyl is in near-mint condition; I test-played the first 15 sec. of each side. Jacket VG, wear along edges, slight ring wear, half-inch split seam and minor seam chipping. Original Liberty inner paper sleeve.
This is one of 42 Julie London auctions from a complete collection of J.L.'s U.S. output. London has long been considered the Queen of the Album Cover for the tastefully suggestive poses in the photgraphs on the jackets, and the 42 different LPs being auctioned off consist of all the U.S. ones in which J.L. was pictured, including either the mono or stereo version of the entire Liberty catalog in chronological order.
U.S. winners pay $3.50 media mail. I do combine winnings to save on mailing cost. For U.S. bidders, win two to five records and pay $4.50 for mailing; win six to 10 and pay $5, for example. International bidders also save on the mailing charge with combined winnings when the weight is less than 4 lbs.; you can e-mail me for the rate. Please note that in the mailing of all records, your mailing cost reflects the shipping cost plus the cost of the box and protective cardboard pads. Multiple mailings (two or more records) go out in special, 15 by 15 oversized record mailers and cardboard pads, with the special size designed to protect against bent corners and other such postal hazards.
