Julian Cope – Krautrocksampler

First edition (1995) of this highly sought after book (of course, you don’t need me to tell you that!) by Kraut rock aficionado Cope.

A thorough review of all that is best in that genre lovingly referred to (although possibly not by too many Germans) as Kraut Rock.

Cope covers Faust, Tangerine Dream (but only to Atem, he wasn’t too keen on them after that!) Neu, Can, Amon Duul (1 & 2) Ash Ra Tempel the Cosmic Couriers and the best of the rest.

Almost 20 pages of colour illustrations showing many classic sleeves of the time.

The book as I mentioned is the 1995 1st edition in immaculate condition (one small indentation on the front cover if you catch it in the light but otherwise you won’t see it).
