Description

Here for auction is an original test pressing of Julian Cope’s 1990 LP Droolian, released on the Texas branch of Zippo Records. Sent to Cope so that he could approve the release, this might be a one-off cut. However, a second copy might possibly have also been sent to Zippo proprietor Pete Flanagan. Included in this auction is the original 12” x 24” test artwork, which Cope folded in half so as to provide a temporary cover: this item also acted as a press review copy. Please note that the artwork has suffered some damp damage at the bottom right hand corner (clearly visible in photos). The record itself has just been played through and is clean save for those faults noted below, next to the song titles:
