CONDITION DETAILS Still in ORIGINAL SHRINK-WRAP (opened), with HYPE-STICKER. Vinyl plays with occasional light-crackles (play-graded). Cover looks great; a couple creases near edges; slight discoloration spots and no scuffing (front/back). Inner-sleeve is original (Philadelphia ads); seams partially split. Spine is easy-to-read with very mild-wear. Little shelf-wear along bottom-edge, heavier wear along top-edge where shrink has torn. Some wear to corners. Opening is crisp with signs of light use and a few divots. (Not a cut-out.)

ABOUT THE RECORD Love is the Message, by MFSB, includes the No. 1 pop, R&B and adult contemporary hit and winner of the 1974 Grammy for Best R&B Instrumental Performance, TSOP (The Sound of Philadelphia). The song was the theme song for the television show Soul Train. In the transition period between Disco and the up and coming Rap movement, the title track, Love Is The Message became a staple at house and block party events in the summers of 1978 and 1979.
