Judas Priest Live GATEFOLD 2 LP CBS 450639 Original 1987 Pressing PLAYTESTED VERY VERY GOOD +
SOUND QUALITY- It gets a VERY VERY GOOD + rating, PLAYTESTED on my middle of the road 1980’s Pioneer deck with a good needle, no jumps, skips, pops or repeats
VISUALLY Record 2, (Sides 3/4) gets an EXCELLENT rating, Record 1, (sides 1/2) gets a VERY GOOD +, both LPs still have a glossy sheen to them, labels still have clear bold print and are not faded, spindle holes show very little use/wear, still having plastic swarf in them from the moulding/pressing process. Record 1, (side1/2) would have had an EXCELLENT rating had it not been for a short, very very light top surface hairline mark across track 1, side1, (which plays through with no sound indication that it’s there (I have tried to show this in the last photo)
GATEFOLD COVER The harder to find Gatefold cover release gets a VERY GOOD +, it’s couplers are still strong, NO record impression, three liitle bits of age related edge wear, - a very small scuff along the front bottom edge between the last to hands on the right and the smallest corner wear on the outside top and bottom corner of the gatefold hinge area (this does not extend to the inside panoramic picture/photo.
SLEEVES these both get a VERY GOOD, with just age related colour discolouration
Overall a really nice example, best played at full volume!
