Joy Division Unknown Pleasures TRANSLUCENT RED UK FIRST PRESS VERY RARE!
This is the super rare UK FIRST PRESSING THAT TURNS TRANSLUCENT RED WHEN HELD UP UNDER A BRIGHT LIGHT UP CLOSE! These often sell for $200-$300 on eBay in the UK! And I have seen them sell for $500 before! This is an essential piece to any very respectable Joy Division Vinyl Collection!
It is 100% the first press made in the UK, printed in Great Britain by Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd. is printed on bottom right of back cover very small. It has the Porky Prime Cut Etching that is only found on The Original First Press UK copy! Most first UK press copies are on black vinyl that DOES NOT turn TRANSLUCENT RED WHEN HELD UP TI A BRIGHT LIGHT BULB UP CLOSE! This one does and it is very hard to find one if these in the US. Vinyl and Cover are in Excellent condition. No major issues at all and it has just a small amount of surface paper scratches from sliding out of sleeve! Copy comes with original rounded corners thick Record Insert.
