Description
Here is a rare opportunity to own the 1979 issue of Unknown Pleasures by Joy Division. The Outer sleeve is in good condition (see photo's) - is the textured sleeve and only has minimal wear as it has been kept in a plastic sleeve since new. There are a couple of marks that are visible on the photo's. Namely, one to the rear that measures approx 1cm - if you look on the photo's it is approx 3cm in from the left hand side. The spine is clean and free from creases. The printers Garrod and Lofthouse are credited on the rear sleeve.
The inner sleeve (with rounded edges) is yellowed and has some foxing and creases to the edges. These too are visible in the photographs.
The vinyl has light hairlines and some light spindle wear but has been looked after. There is a finger print on one of the outer edges; there are no deep scratches to note.
I managed to record the actual record playing in realtime eventually. I have recorded Side A and Side B so that you can listen to the condition of the vinyl. Here are the files (note that it has been recorded using an iphone so it's not premium quality and because it was recorded in real time there is general household background noise - I hope however, the files will help you to make an informed choice before buying. Please do listen to them as I do not want anyone to be disappointed with their purchase).

If you hold the vinyl to the light, the colour changes to translucent red.
