Joy Division - Morituri Te Salutant
(Victory Products BPI 84.245/46 LP 1984)
This is a 1984 original LP pressing. It is pressed on black vinyl. Manufactured, I believe, in Germany. However, the rear sleeve states Australia. This LP was limited to just 500 copies. It has a slimline matte sleeve which has an extremely thin spine. There is no spine text printed on the spine. It comes with its original company plain paper inner sleeve. The record is pressed on thick vinyl & has black "Victory Products" labels which have silver print. It has 1st press A/ B matrix stampers. This LP consists of a live recording from Eindhoven, Holland in January 1980. The tracks are:

This is a genuine 1984 1st pressing of this very rare Joy Division LP. As stated, it was limited to just 500 copies. Don't miss out!
Sleeve: There is some light, mild or more moderate rubbing wear on the top edge on some areas. There are a very few tiny scratch marks at the very top edge of the front sleeve (see photos). There is some light, mild or very mild hairline rubbing wear on the bottom edge on some areas. There is light, mild or very mild rubbing wear on the sleeve opening edges on some areas. This is not too noticeable. There is a very mild 11 cm crease at the top opening area. There are two creases (8 cm & 10 cm) at the bottom sleeve opening area. There is some light, mild or very mild rubbing wear to the corner tips. The spine edge is in great condition & shows minimal wear. There is some light, mild or very mild ringwear. There are no seam splits. Overall, a strong Very Good condition
Vinyl: There are some light, very mild or very minor sleeve rubs which can hardly be seen under a strong light. The inner sleeve, over time, has left some light, very mild or very minor dull surface marks on some areas. These, again, can hardly be seen under a strong light. Overall, Near Excellent condition. The labels are in Near Mint condition & show next to no spindle wear. The company paper inner sleeve is in Very Good+ condition. There is some light, mild or very mild ringwear, fading & creasing. "Joy Division - Eindhoven" has been written very neatly in two places on one side of the inner sleeve. There are no seam splits.
I have fully play tested this LP. It plays Very Good+ to Near Excellent overall & Excellent in some places. Obviously this live recording is not of the highest standard. Nevertheless, the quality is extremely good overall. There is some light, mild, very mild or very minor crackle in some quieter places. Overall, a very reasonable audio copy.
