Joshila KILLER PSYCH FUNK BOLLYWOOD R.D.Burman HEAR! rare!

This is the very, very cool Indian soundtrack for the Dev Anand film "Joshila" from 1973, Burman's best period. As cool beats, crime jazz, hammond stuff is concerned: the song "Kaanp Rahi Main" scores a 10. It's spectacular and this will not injure your ears! The beat is sixties funk / latin / bossa with copshow horns playing an exciting tune (sample this!) and then nice singing and hammond riffs plus weird instrumental intermezzi.

"Sona Rupa Layo Re" is killer psychedelic sixties beat funk with amazing hippie trance singing (!!!!!), moog effects with great chase beat ending. "Jo Baat Isharon" is a ballad with nice percussion / sitar stuff. Other strange sample could be the intro of side 2, with very deep tuned percussion/slave choir/flutes/trip violins. Very recommended!

CONDITION

Cover is EX. No writings, no tears, no seam splits.

Disc is visually Near Mint but plays with the usual very slight surface noise coming from original pressing. Will grade it EX+.

All Records are mostly visualy graded.We do provide audio samples also for interested collectors to listen 1st before bidding.

M                  New and Unplayed (If not sure we don't use it) 

NM               Nearly Mint, but has been played at the most once. No visible signs of wear or damage.

EX                Plays like new, with very, very few signs of handling, such as tiny scuffs  from being slipped in and out of jackets.

VG               Still very shiny, near new looking, with no visible signs of wear, but a few inaudible scuffs and scratches.

VG-              Some wear, scratches and scuffs, audible back ground noise but no skipped or repeat grooves.
