Description

Superb Brazilian tinged Acoustic Guitar led jazz from Jose Neto plus the legendary husband and wife pairing of singer Flora Purim & percussionist Airto Moreira on the album Mountains & the Sea on Waterlily Acoustics Audiophile Vinyl LP. Randy Tico plays an acoustic bass guitar to round out the soundscape. Of all of the many audiophile labels, the short lived Water Lily has always been a favourite for their total valve signal path analogue purity, here using transformerless line level mics in a small old church with a pleasing acoustic. Best thing about it though is the music. Superb multi influenced Jazz guitar with the band members coming and going on various tracks as required (i.e. some solo tracks, some duets and full quartet band to a few others). Near mint record sleeve and play grade. This is meant to be heard on a high end cart in a good system to get the benefit of the information in its grooves. Rarely sold in the UK, and US ones have my asking price as postage and import duty, whatever they are selling it for.
