Description

This is a very nice copy of ORG’s 45 RPM 2-LP release (ORG 027) of Johnny Hartman’s album “I Just Dropped By to Say Hello” with Johnny Hartman singing with backing by Hank Jones, Illinois Jacquet, Kenny Burrell, Jim Hall, Milt Hinton, & Elvin Jones.  This is a reissue of the original impluse! LP A-57 and is in stereo.  It is a limited numbered release No. 00674.
When I first bought this set new, the records were cleaned with Audio Intelligent cleaning fluids on a VPI record cleaner, followed with a second cleaning on an Audio Desk ultra sonic record cleaner, and treated with LAST record preservative.  More recently the records were recleaned with the latest version of the Audio Desk ultra sonic record cleaner.  It has also been demagnetized with a Furutech DeMag. It was recently play graded using a Lyra Parnassus cartridge on a VPI Classic 4 turntable and 3D tonearm.  I previously only played the record a few times on a similar set-up with either a Lyra Parnassus, Benz LPS, or Lyra Kleos cartridge.
The records are in mint- condition with no scuffs or scratches and play very quietly with only 5 light ticks noted over side A; 7 light ticks over side B; 2 light ticks over side C; and 1 light tick over side D.
The heavy, glossy, gatefold jacket is in mint condition with no seam splits, bends, or tears.
