Description
Johnny Hammond Smith The Stinger (Prestige 7408). Great copy of his rarest 60s LP, a mod little hip featuring his distinctive B-3 Hammond, probably should be in any club dj's kit, and with the far-out cover, sort of unique, looking like, to me, the silver surfer, but not enough for copyright infringement. Tracks: The Stinger, There is no greater love, Brother JOhn, Cleopatra and the African Knight, You don't know what love is and Benny's Diggin, with Houston Person soloing away on tenor along with Earl Edwards, and Floyd Smith (g) and John Harris (d).
Condition: NM disc/ VG++ cover
