Totally rare and exclusive dubs built by Johnny Clarke for the mighty Jah Shaka for sound system only. This is what we call Dubplate. JOHNNY CLARKE - JAH GIVE US THE POWER. Produced by Johnny Clark but never released, the battering-ram bassline became a trademark of Shaka and other roots sounds in the late 70’s. A cut was finally released on the Shaka LP ‘Brimstone & Fire,’ but with the bass deliberately mixed so low that it was impossible to hear properly. Serious sound system one-a-away business!! Miss at your own disappointment. 10” Record plays nicely but judge for yourself by listening to the sound clips below.
