Johnny Cash "Good Earth"
Rare vinyl LP of Johnny Cash doing radio commercials/TV advertising spots for Standard Oil. This wasn't commercially available for sale & doesn't have any record label name, is marked label# TS72-804. A cool, and very rare piece of Johnny Cash memorabilia. The ad spots are at the beginning of Side #1 with 3 songs filling out this side: I Walk The Line; Orange Blossom Special & Supper Time. Side #2 is full of hit songs: Five Feet High And Rising; These Hands; In Them Old Cotton Fields Back Home; Pickin' Time; Green, Green Grass of Home. See Pic. above for what this label looks like...
*On ad side,"Johnny Cash Joins the Farm Sales Team". TS72-804, Released in 1973 by Standard Oil Company to promote their goods on Farm radio stations.
*Cover is in Acceptable/Good condition; No seam splits,no writing,stickers. Cover has wear/fading.(see photos). Looks more like wear from being slid in and out between other records. Vinyl looks great, very minimal wear/marks. No skipping, deep scratches, etc..
* (3 separate papers included). Comes with 2 page Standard Oil-Chicago Region 1973 Farm Radio schedule, personalized letter to the director at WTSO 720am Farm Radio Madison, WI.
